Among the things you will want and need to know about for your holiday or relocation to Gibraltar are the grocers and grocery stores that are available to you. Buying groceries in the UK is a great deal different than buying groceries in Gibraltar, given the vast price differences that you will find.

The stores that you're going to purchase from are largely the same as those you are accustomed to in the UK, but the pricing will be much lower than you might expect to pay for the same items in the UK.

Although Gibraltar is technically part of the UK, it is self governing, as well as being tax free area, and overall pricing is less than the UK.

The stores you are used to, such as Morrisons-Safeway are available to you for purchasing your groceries and the same items you would buy in the UK are also easily found in Gibraltar. Fresh fruits and vegetables are in abundance, which one might not expect given that Gibraltar has minimal area available for agriculture, but the pricing on these too will be somewhat less than the norm for the UK.

Your overall grocery bill will be lower in the Gibraltar area, while you will enjoy most of the brands and foods that you are accustomed to.
