Tax Free Shopping in Gibraltar

Sure the economy stinks, pretty much world wide, but there are certain things we all still need, and a few things we just want. Gibraltar shopping makes it a little easier to achieve that, whether you live there or on holiday there, with their tax free shopping to help you gather in the goodies for a lower cost.

One of the best places to find what you're looking for in Gibraltar is Casemates Square, which is situated at the end of the Main Street in Gibraltars famed shopping area, and was at one time, the place where executions were carried out for the public's observation. Thankfully a few things have changed and now, Casemates Square is one of the best places to find some fashionable al fresco dining, lovely old bars and trendy cafe's, making it well worth your time to visit.

Duty Free Shopping in GibraltarYou will be pleasantly surprised to find that most of the British High Street names that you love are in Gibraltar, such as Marks and Spencer, Morrisons, Mothercare, BHS, as well as Dorothy Perkins.

Most of the shops are on or close to Main Street, which is a gorgeous shopping area that is now pedestrian in nature. If you need their services you're also going to find that situated among the shops on Main Street there are multiple exchange centres for your currency exchange as well.

Among the famous  shop names you're also going to find many smaller local shops that are worth your time to explore. Be on the lookout and you're going to find linen, designer glasses, cigarette shoppes and wine and spirits at great prices.

Down Main Street a ways, there are some more wonderful shops to check out that will give you exactly what you're looking for to take home with you. Stores are literally elbow to elbow in Main Street, as well as on the small  side streets and alleyways of Gibraltar, which is famed the world over for the tax free shopping you can do there.

Among those things which you will find at incredible bargain prices are perfumes, leather goods as well as jewelry, electronics, and the always popular luxury glass items, which you can special order, or watch being made, or a demonstration of the technique by which they are made in the Crystal Shop on Gibraltar, one of the other attractions of the area.

While you're in Gibraltar don't neglect the opportunity to do a bit of shopping and get your money's worth and a lot more besides.
