Miss Gibraltar Kaiane Aldorino has been named winner of the 2009 Miss World pageant in Johannesburg

Miss Gibraltar Kaiane Aldorino has been named winner of the 2009 Miss World Our very own Miss Gibraltar Kaiane Aldorino has been named winner of the 2009 Miss World pageant in Johannesburg. Kaiane had also won the swimsuit round and was a favourite of the judges.

Miss Mexico, Perla Beltran Acosta, was the first runner up followed by Miss South Africa, Tatum Keshwar. Apparently, Miss South Africa was the hot favourite to win the crown.

Miss South Africa was a home favorite and was also a favorite at the Miss Universe Pageant that took place earlier this year.
